Three of New Zealand’s largest banks are facing mounting scrutiny after claims they have introduced “mandatory behavioural and device-level tracking” as a condition of accessing online and mobile banking services.
A widely shared post by commentator and co-founder of Save Women’s Sport Australasia Ro Edge alleged ANZ, BNZ and Westpac now require customers to agree to extensive data collection, including monitoring how users type and swipe, how they hold and move their phones, mouse movements, Bluetooth and USB connections, installed apps on Android devices, and even whether a user is on a call.
According to the tweet, customers who decline consent are blocked from using internet banking or mobile apps, effectively losing online access to their own accounts and money.
Direct excerpts attributed to bank website statements include ANZ saying: “You won’t be able to use goMoney or Internet Banking without having this data collected,” while BNZ reportedly states: “If you don’t provide this information, we may not be able to offer you services…”
BNZ’s information mandatory collection terms also include taking information about you on:
- “how you access online banking, including whether you use a computer or mobile to connect to our services
- information about your device, for example, the type and model, preferences, settings, network and connectivity data, IP address, sensor and peripheral data, installed apps, and security posture
- behavioural biometric information, such as how you type, swipe, tap, scroll, or navigate information such as available and connected devices, and call status, when your device has the relevant permissions enabled.”
Critics argue the measures go far beyond fraud prevention, amounting to what Edge describes as a “permanent behavioural fingerprint” that could be shared with overseas partners. The rollout has drawn concern due to the lack of public consultation, limited legacy media coverage, and the absence of an opt-out option.
The issue was further explored in the latest Leighton Smith Podcast, in which guest John Alcock discussed the “mandatory surveillance requirements” imposed by two major banks in recent weeks. Alcock linked the developments to wider concerns around digital identity systems and future Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) infrastructure, warning that the changes may represent “only the beginning”.
ASB, Kiwibank and smaller cooperative banks have not implemented similar requirements, according to Edge, though none have publicly ruled out doing so in future.
💥New Zealand’s biggest banks have just made spyware mandatory if you want to use their online banking.💥
Yep, you read that right.@ANZ_NZ, @BNZ & @WestpacNZ now force you to let them track:
* How you type & swipe
* How you hold & move your phone
* Your mouse movements
* What…— Ro Edge (@rosey_nz) November 26, 2025
Customers angered by the changes are being urged online to contact their banks and MPs, with critics warning that normalising such data collection could have long-term implications for privacy and financial access.
Not surprised the banks have been pushing for the globalist agenda for decades.
You might say they are part owners of the globalist agenda. Have been for decades.
John Alcock is the Deputy Leader of the New Zealand Loyal Party which I voted for in the last (s)election, and will be doing so again in 2026, while supporting the same!
NOT ONE member of Parliament seems to have raised opposition to this in ANY sitting political party.
NZ Loyal Party is still suffering from being de-banked.
https://nzloyal.com/kiwibank-asb-and-nbs-referred-to-ombudsman/
https://nzloyal.com/nz-loyal-de-banked/
De-banking the political party of anyone’s choice is essentially you being denied the representation that you have selected via due-process, and the Banks are thereby DEPRIVING YOU OF THE RIGHT TO THE POLITICAL PARTY OF YOUR CHOICE BYDENYING BANKING SERVICES!
THE NZ HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION AND THE NZ BANKING OMBUDSMAN WERE BOTH NOTIFIED OF THIS CIVIL RIGHT AND RIGHT TO REPRESENTATION BEING OPPRESSED BY THE BANKING CARTEL THAT DOES NOT WANT TO SEE NZ LOYAL PARTY COME INTO PARLIAMENT! I notified both of them some months ago, BUT- I never heard back (marginalised, disenfranchised from my political due-process as a result…!)
Imagine the uproar if the Greens, Labour and the Maori Party were…DEBANKED!!!
This is even more of a reason to boot the Uni-Party and their puppy-dog minions OUT OF PARLIAMENT in 2026!,as they are part of the problem and beyond any form of guilt or shame in what they have done to our country under WEF and WHO ‘guidelines’.

ALL OF THE BANKS IN THIS REGION ARE UNDER THE COMMAND AND ADVICE OF BANKSTER AND FORMER PM ‘SIR’ JOHN KEY, who is a Zionist J3w!

Also, check out the Israeli Pegasus spyware, and Peter Thiel’s Palantir program.
Put New Zealand Loyal into office, and all of this encroaching shit will go away!!!
100% correct.. and yes john key is a snake.
Thing is judgment will come on them scum, nice lake of burning sulfur awaites them all.
Getting all money out of banks they are part of the parisite class sucking the life out of us all, no suprises they are scared of ivermectum
You can NOT vote your way out of this. The fact the party has been de-banked demonstrates perfectly how the system is engineered such that only ‘approved’ options appear on the ballot. If it’s on the ballot, it’s already too late. Every vote cast reflects an ignorance of this fact. The more votes, the more secure is their control.
As technology advances so must regulation increase.
Each app we install comes with its own mountain of agreements. Page after page giving away your privacy . Limitations must come from government. Sadly, government are the worst abuses.
The goverment and the media are the enemy of the people.
SICK OF IT
Kick those leeches AND thejr poolitical accomplices out of office!
I remember during the scamdemic I thought it would be good to get away from the big banks, so I opened a Co-operative account. Then they went that extra goosestep further and banned the unjabbed from the branches. You just can’t win with any of these dirty institutions.
I maintain a strictly limited account and keep most of what I have outside of the world of banks. Don’t even own a credit card, anymore. If we all do the same it becomes much harder for them.
Not voting for globalist douche bags is a great idea, too.
I do the same and, speaking for at least 2 dozen of my peers, I think the next election will be a watershed event.
True, barring the (s)election interference that we have seen previously both here and in other nations .
EVERYONE NEEDS TO CONTACT THE NZ HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION, THE NZ BANKING OMBUDSMAN, THE PRIVACY COMMISSION, AND THE NZ BROADCASTING STANDARDS!
Swamp and overload Parliament with c/c’s to these ‘institutions’.
This is nothing more than prepping for Social Credit, the CBDC’s, and Digital ID that is going to be used AGAINST US TO DEPRIVE US OF OUR BASIC RIGHTS!
Also, contacting the UN Human Rights Commission (to which NZ is a signatory to..) needs to be notified of this blatant disregard and violations of human, political and monetary rights.
Except that those organisations are part of the global network as well. We’re doomed I tell you…
The money lenders are behind almost everything. The politicians work for them, so don’t expect an help there. Best you can do is sell up and move to a country, that’s not as obnoxiously an utter sell out, as those in the Five Eyes globalist group are.
Which rules out moving to Oz…where some Australian States proved to be worse during the Covid Plandemic!
As I said anyone who if Five Eyes……
Economic fascism
It appears to me, installing a banking app on your phone or just using your web browser requires pages of agreement before the app is installed.
Open microphone, ongoing gps. This isn’t good enough.
Long passed time for a major overhaul of the privacy act to include what data can or can not be collected.
Delete their app and just use the webpage and bookmark it, Never use an App unless you cannot do this.
Yes, installing the app is the absolute worst option. But using your mobile for banking at all is not much better. Best option is to use cash whenever possible.
Transfer your account to another institution.
Sounds good harry, BUT-
It seems as though all of the Banksters will need to comply with this draconian, fascist ops in order to stay in business.
If anyone has the name of a banking ‘institution’ that isn’t doing this and de-banking people and political parties and businesses, then please list it / them in this commentary.
The banks are always being fined or reprimanded by regulators; who is paying them to spy on their customers?
Is it China? 5-Eyes? the J3wdicial? The WEF? Israel (prepping for Noahide Law via the Talmud)?
Parisite scum , moving all money from anz into precious metals. Banks are parisites the global parisite class will have no where to hide no where to run when to people turn on them ,them that are the lowest form of life on earth they will All be in a lake of fire on judgment day.
At least Thailand is putting a stop to this crap!
https://basedunderground.com/2025/11/26/thailand-shuts-down-iris-scanning-biometrics-operation-tied-to-sam-altmans-worldcoin/
Note to NZ MP’s and PM: FOLLOW THAILAND’S EXAMPLE!!!
We don’t need the Mossad, Unit 8200, Palantir or Pegasus spyware & spytech running here in New Zealand!
Demand that the Banks stop their spying via apps!
MPs demand that banks stop spying? They should and I hope they do. But let’s not forget that these banks are all owned by Aussie banks that are, in turn, owned by US/UK/EU banks that are, in their turn, owned by Blackrock, Vanguard, and State Street that manage money from …. anyone’s guess.
The late great George Carlin said “It’s a big club and we ain’t in it.”
Lobbying MP’s is futile, they are the ones who granted a special exemption for NZ residency to Peter Thiel. (Who then reneged on his promised investments, but that was always only a bone for the govt to toss to their critics.) I expect philanthropaths like Thiel dictate terms to ‘sovereign’ govt’s on a regular basis.
Noted the privacy act is just principles. It sould be a criminal act to do what the banks are doing.
Owning lots of property sounds like a good idea right? Thats not entirely true. Its not just the mortgage.
Like any businesses, a business must have customers, a business has tax, regulations, accounting. Then there is maintenance, accounting fees, local authority rates, water fees, drainage, insurance. Local authority levies.
When business runs out of customers, all they can do is complete on price. Real estate is now in oversupply. This includes commercial buildings and farms.. Many investors are selling at much reduced prices because there are fewer tenants.
Imagine you have 3 investment properties and they are all empty. Property is no longer an asset, its a liability.
If you’re ignorant & credulous enough to trust your mobile device for banking (or anything private) then you probably deserve what you get. There’s a reason every organization asks your mobile number. Preferably connected with your name, but even that is not as important as identifying your mobile device as it can easily be deduced by other means. People need to sober up and realise the digital prison has already been built and is nearly complete. The final step will be to engineer your consent to accept your induction papers in the form of a Digital ID. People will find that ‘maximum security’ isn’t so ‘convenient’.
“According to the tweet, customers who decline consent are blocked from using internet banking or mobile apps, effectively losing online access to their own accounts and money.”
Because using your mobile device is the only possible method to deal with the bank? Only mobile devices can get online? C’mon, this is a ridiculous statement at best, deliberately misleading at worst.
Contact the NZ banking ombudsman. Make a complaint. It cost the bank $5000 to open an investigation. If we all do it, then the banks will stop
