A media release from Alison Pavlovich, Wellington Central candidate for the New Zealand Outdoors & Freedom Party (NZOFP), has raised concerns about the timing and independence of the newly announced review into the pandemic-era actions of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
Pavlovich said while an inquiry into the economic response to Covid-19 restrictions is overdue, questions remain about why it has only been launched now and whether it will be truly independent.
The release highlights that Prime Minister Christopher Luxon first called for an inquiry in 2022 while serving as Leader of the Opposition, but the review has only been announced more than two years after the current government took office. Pavlovich suggested some may view the timing as politically convenient, potentially aligning with broader debates around economic performance.
Pavlovich also questioned whether the inquiry’s outcomes may already be influenced by prior public commentary. Luxon has previously described the Reserve Bank’s Covid-era monetary response as involving “excessive printing of cash” that led to “economic carnage,” raising questions, Pavlovich said, about whether an inquiry is needed if conclusions appear to have been publicly signalled.
Further concerns were raised about the concept of independence in public inquiries generally. The release pointed to panel member Athanasios Orphanides and his links to the Atlas Network, arguing that inquiry members inevitably bring their own perspectives and worldviews. Pavlovich said this challenges the idea that any inquiry can deliver a completely neutral or undisputed version of events.
I’m sure an election being just around the corner and National’s crappy rating with voters after only one term has nothing to do with it, right? Suffice to say this really just adds fuel to the fire. Voters like myself can see “very clearly” whats going on and view this as yet another self serving waste of public money. Don’t care who gets in National but its time you and others like you were sent a message “Do a bad job, there’s the door”.

Where are the solutions?
It is easy to criticize. NZ’s fall down corruption tables demonstrates why our clever youth are fleeing our once great country and why Kiwis wealth and life quality keep siphoning into the pockets of Nicola Willis’ Dad amd his mates.
Where are our academics?
NZ academics know the biggest problems in NZ are caused by corrupt politicians. So what happened to NZ academics’ integrity? Why are academics allowing the corruption to pervade their own ranks?
Academics know the solutions to NZ’s continued slide to economic hardship for most Kiwis. If academics dont speak up soon, their own children will be buying one way plane tickets.
NZOFP. Legalizing marijuans will add to NZ’s problems, it certainly isnt a solution for corrupt NZ MPs. Where are your credible solutions and list of credible people with the skills and talent required to implement those solutions?
Luxon only cares about the financial issues as far as the State is concerned. Health issues of the peons or the moral and legal issues of forcing an experimental injection on the population are not his concern.
It’s readily apparent by Luxon’s tone of inflection, facial expressions and the always hollow responses that he is definitely a Corporate Globalist enamoured in pleasing his Zionist Global Bankster masters!
Chippy isn’t much better, and threatened to ‘hunt down the unvaccinated’ and inject them (us) with the untested bio-weapon known as the Covid 19 ‘vaccine’ which has killed millions!
This is why the NZ Loyal Party will overturn the oppresive Firearms Laws & Codes here in New Zealand. This way, if Chippy or any other politician threatens our Human Rights, Patient Rights, or violations of the Nuremburg Code, we’ll be able to fight back against the imposed tyranny!
This is why the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution was enshrined into the same- to have the ability to fight back against imposed tyranny, as noted in the ongoing Genocides via vaccines, Holodomors, and Crimes Against Humanity.
