Police seek public’s help following arrest of Invercargill man for indecent exposure

Invercargill Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with multiple incidents of indecent exposure to members of the public.

The man has been released on bail to an address outside Southland. He is set to reappear in the Invercargill District Court later this year.

“This behaviour is concerning, and we are pleased to have taken action to prevent further incidents,” police said in a statement.

Investigators are now seeking assistance from the public to identify any unreported interactions with the man over the past two weeks. Police have described the suspect as a brown-haired, Caucasian man driving a green sedan, primarily seen in the North Invercargill area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police via their online reporting system or by calling 105, quoting reference number 241009/6007.

  1. I giggle when police ask the public for help.

Ever since the police bashed and burned the protestors, ripped the clothes off a woman, hit an old man, I will never help the police. Not only that, I tell my children to never trust the police. They are not here to help you.
