Tauranga serious assault – two teens arrested

Police investigating a serious assault on The Strand can advise two people have been arrested thanks to information from the public and staff enquiries.

Two 18-year-old men are due to reappear before the Tauranga District Court Monday 8 April and Friday 12 April charged with assault.

Police are continuing to work to identify the below group of people who we believe, alongside others, can assist our enquiries into a serious assault which occurred on Sunday 3rd of March.

Early Sunday morning, two young men were left with serious injuries following an unprovoked and violent attack.

Police believe a group were responsible and the offenders are not believed to be known to the victims.

Police have reviewed CCTV footage, spoken with the victims and conducted a number of enquiries in an attempt to identify and locate the offenders.

‘Police are taking this incident extremely seriously, there is no place for this violence in our community and we will follow up on any new information we receive in an attempt to locate and bring those responsible for this assault before the courts,’ said Senior Sergeant Scott Merritt.

Police are urging anyone who knows what happened to call them.

  1. Justice is always too late for the victim, potential victims should be allowed to arm themselves with a list of police approved weapons with full protection of their self defense law (Meaning no cucked liberals to be allowed to decide what is justified and what is not)

  2. What happened to the gang patch ban? I was in Rotorua yesterday and could see black power patches in the CBD. That was after I was approached 3 times in 5 minutes by people asking for money.

    Macpac had had their door smashed. Bet there’s no reporting on that.

    Labour has ruined this country.
