The All Blacks will face hosts Australia in Pool A of the 2027 Rugby World Cup, alongside first-time test opponents Chile and Hong Kong China, after the full tournament draw was confirmed in Sydney.
Defending champions South Africa head Pool B with Italy, Georgia and Romania, setting up a likely All Blacks–Springboks quarter-final, while other key groupings include Ireland with Scotland in Pool D and England with Wales in Pool F.
The 2027 event will debut an expanded six-pool format, with 24 teams and an extended knockout stage, and will be hosted across seven Australian cities, with Optus Stadium opening the tournament on 1 October and Sydney’s Accor Stadium staging the final.
