Bryce Heem has announced his retirement from professional rugby, concluding a distinguished career that spanned top teams including the All Blacks Sevens, Chiefs, Worcester Warriors, and the Blues, where he earned 42 caps and helped secure a championship.

Praised for his leadership and consistency, Heem was affectionately known as ‘Uncle’ by teammates and played a vital role in Blues’ successes. Transitioning smoothly into post-rugby life, Heem will now work as a mortgage broker with The Lending Department, a path he has been preparing for through a personal development programme.
