Ford climbs Dally M rankings after Broncos rout

Despite missing out on State of Origin selection, Jackson Ford continues to surge up the Dally M leaderboard after helping the New Zealand Warriors demolish the Brisbane Broncos 42-12 during Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium.

Ford collected two Dally M points from the dominant performance, lifting him to 33 points overall and leaving him just five behind competition leader Nathan Cleary ahead of the final round of public voting before the State of Origin period.

With Cleary sidelined on representative duty, Ford has an opportunity to further narrow the gap. He remains the only prop forward inside the Dally M top 10, alongside fellow forward Haumole Olakau’atu from Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

Warriors teammates Kurt Capewell and Erin Clark earned three points each against Brisbane, while James Fisher-Harris received two, and Leka Halasima and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak picked up one point apiece.
