Jackson Ford has surged to the outright lead in the 2026 Dally M Medal standings after collecting a second straight maximum six-point haul following New Zealand Warriors’ 40-6 win over Canberra Raiders.

In his 99th career game, the 28-year-old backed up his standout opening-round display with another tireless performance, playing 76 minutes, scoring a try from Erin Clark’s short ball, running 154 metres from 15 carries, producing 57 post-contact metres, five tackle breaks and a team-high 37 tackles.

Ford now sits alone on 12 points, three clear of Dylan Edwards. Halfback Tanah Boyd collected four points after another influential display that included a try, five goals, two try assists, a 40/20 and 797 kicking metres, while Taine Tuaupiki and captain James Fisher-Harris earned one point each, with Fisher-Harris also producing 151 running metres and 35 tackles in another dominant middle-forward performance.
