Kangaroos full-back James Tedesco has withdrawn from the three-match Test series against England to serve as best man at his brother Matthew’s November wedding, despite being named on the Kangaroos’ provisional squad list.
The former captain, who starred in the 2022 World Cup final, had been set for a recall after being dropped last year, but his decision leaves new coach Kevin Walters searching for alternative full-back options ahead of the October–November series in London, Liverpool, and Leeds.
