All Whites coach Darren Bazeley has named Owen Parker-Price and George Stanger as new additions to his squad for October friendlies against Poland and Norway.
Midfielder Parker-Price plays for Örgryte in Sweden’s second tier, while defender Stanger has been a regular for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership. Both have previously represented New Zealand at age-group level.
Seven players also return to the squad, including Bill Tuiloma, Ben Waine and Alex Paulsen. Bazeley said the debutants’ selections reward their persistence and growth in Europe. New Zealand face Poland in Chorzów on October 10 and Norway in Oslo on October 15.
