UEFA is preparing to auction new broadcast rights for its European club competitions, aiming to raise over £4 billion annually—up from the current £2.9 billion deal.
The next six-year cycle, starting in 2027, will cover the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League, with one top fixture per round expected to be offered to major streaming platforms such as Amazon, Disney, or Netflix.
Broadcasters will be able to bid across multiple key markets simultaneously, including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin said the organisation is focused on expanding digital engagement and keeping European football “at the very top” amid a rapidly changing media landscape.
