The Warriors have been forced into big changes for Saturday’s round 14 NRL clash against Cronulla, with co-captain Mitch Barnett ruled out for the season and centre Rocco Berry again sidelined.
Barnett suffered a ruptured ACL in his right knee during the first half of the win over South Sydney, ending his 2025 campaign after 48 club appearances.
Berry, in his return from a hamstring injury, scored a try but left the field in the 60th minute with renewed tightness. Jackson Ford, who impressed with 155 metres, 37 tackles, and a try assist last week, replaces Barnett at prop.
Kurt Capewell shifts into the centres for Berry, with Leka Halasima starting in the second row and Jacob Laban joining the interchange. The rest of the backline remains unchanged, including Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad’s standout 339-metre performance, as well as tries from Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
Luke Metcalf lifted his season points tally past 100, and Marata Niukore will mark his 49th club appearance. The Warriors sit third on the ladder with a 9-3 record, facing a Sharks side coming off a bye and looking to rebound from a heavy loss to the Roosters.
