Paul Doyle, 53, a father-of-three and former Royal Marine, has been charged after allegedly driving a car into crowds during Liverpool’s Premier League victory parade, injuring 79 people including a nine-year-old.
Doyle faces multiple charges, including dangerous driving, wounding with intent, and causing and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
The crash occurred on Water Street at 6pm Monday, and seven victims remain hospitalised.
Merseyside Police are examining extensive CCTV and mobile footage, while the Crown Prosecution Service says the charges remain under review to ensure justice for all victims. Doyle is scheduled to appear in court on Friday (UK Time).
Why no name suppression? 🤔🤷🏼♂️
Anyways…GOOD! It was vile and cowardly, and he deserves to be prosecuted to the fullest extent.
British justice remains corrupt and baffling – he was refused bail because the prosecutor said there was a risk to the alleged offender’s own safety rather public safety https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/may/30/ex-royal-marine-paul-doyle-appears-in-court-over-liverpool-parade-collision
Gobsmacked!!
Can a car be highjacked and taken control off by an outsider ?
With all new tech like for ex. tesla ?
Is the guy the real culprit ?
It seems to me so uncredible. Wait and see.
And understandably the victims would lynch him getting the chance.
So many questions
Totally mind controlled .
