The abandoned former home of disgraced TV presenter Jimmy Savile in Glencoe, Scotland, caught fire on Saturday evening, prompting a closure of the A82 in both directions.
Emergency services responded around 5:40 pm, extinguishing the blaze while police launched an investigation into the cause.
The property, which has been vacant since Savile’s death in 2011, became notorious after revelations of his widespread abuse, with police later searching the home for evidence of his crimes.
Vandalized multiple times and labelled a “stain” on Scotland’s landscape, the house was set for demolition after redevelopment plans were rejected.
Notorious pedophile Jimmy Savile’s former hideout has erupted in flames, with emergency crews rushing to the scene as fire tore through nearby garages.

Needed Katharsis. Cleansing through fire.
It’s amazing it lasted this long?
Jimmy Saville’s former Scottish home engulfed in flames, just like Jimmy is, for ever and ever, Amen.
