Netanyahu rejects two-state plan

Benjamin Netanyahu rules out two-state solution as a threat to Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel will not support the creation of a Palestinian state, arguing that such an entity would ultimately be used to destroy Israel rather than foster peace.

Speaking at a joint press conference in Jerusalem with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz — who reiterated Germany’s backing for a two-state solution — Netanyahu said the concept poses an existential threat, pointing to Gaza as an example of what he called a “de facto state” turned against Israel under Hamas’ control.

While dismissing the UN Security Council’s long-standing two-state proposal, which envisions a Palestinian state along pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, Netanyahu insisted that stability could be achieved through broader regional agreements with Arab nations without granting Palestinian statehood.

Acknowledging ongoing international concerns over Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, he signalled that the current situation is unlikely to change any time soon.

  1. After all the trouble Israel went to with the destroying and the ethic cleansing, how could anyone expect them to want a two state solution? Its all so “inconvenient”.

  2. I also reject the two state plan, it should be called the Palestinian State, or better still, simply the Holy Land, and may it be as such.

  3. Just as I have always claimed, my second prediction was the corruption charges being leveled at him are never going to be prosecuted, they are just for pausable deniability that the entire jewish race has Nets back.
