Bernard Tomic’s phone was reportedly seized as part of a match-fixing investigation into two suspicious losses, including a 2022 Australian Open qualifying match.
According to the Daily Mail Australia, while police and the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) examined betting irregularities and his performances, Tomic was not charged, and NSW Police stated there is no ongoing investigation into tennis match-fixing.
Once ranked world No. 17, Tomic’s career has faltered, with recent heavy defeats drawing attention.
Despite his early promise, including a Wimbledon quarterfinal run in 2011, the 32-year-old has struggled to maintain form and consistency in recent years.
