HAZEL & The Thief announces the much anticipated release of their debut album, Wildflowers In Concrete, a deeply personal collection of original songs written by HAZEL, and produced by ARIA award winning top producer Matt Fell.
Influenced by two decades of motherhood, including the challenges and triumphs of single parenthood, HAZEL’s songs resonate with raw honesty and unwavering strength.
The new single and title track, Wildflowers in Concrete features a heartfelt, uplifting rock ballad where Hazel bares her soul. This haunting and vulnerable track is arguably the most raw and honest song she will ever release, a true testament to her emotional depth.
HAZEL plans to tour extensively, sharing her stories of resilience and creative navigation with listeners, while also exploring opportunities for collaborations and further artistic growth, ensuring Wildflowers In Concrete reaches its full potential and connects with audiences on a profound level.
HAZEL has frequented the stages of a number of festivals in 2025 including: Melbourne Muster, Horsham RegFest, Melbourne ROAR Festival, FIRELIGHT FESTIVAL – MELBOURNE – July & Tamworth Country Music Festival.
HAZEL’s awards nominations are numerous including People’s Choice Award nominee for ‘Most Promising Future Star’ 2025, CCMA National Songwriter Nominee – 2025. HAZEL is also a Senior Academy of Country Music graduate 2025
