‘Kath & Kim’ star reveals stage 4 blood cancer diagnosis

Australian comedian and actress Magda Szubanski has announced she is battling stage 4 blood cancer, revealing in a social media video that she has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lymphoma.

The 64-year-old, known for her roles in Babe and Kath & Kim, said she has begun chemotherapy under the Nordic protocol, commonly used to treat Mantle Cell Lymphoma.

Despite the seriousness of her condition, Szubanski remains hopeful, noting that new treatments are constantly emerging.

  1. What, another straight to stage 4 rare and aggressive cancer. This condition is almost as common as noses on faces now. What ever could be causing it……….

  2. I think we are so perplexed as to why this is becoming so common.

    Heart attacks, cancer, strokes, people dying in the night, auto immune reactions I mean what could it be?

    Sad for her but what can I say? Look after your health people and stay unvaxxed.
