Brazilian-born influencer Mila De Jesus, known for her significant weight loss transformation, has passed away at the age of 35 due to suspected cardiac arrest.
De Jesus, who had recently married George Kowszik, was a popular Instagram star with nearly 60,000 followers. She lived in Boston but was originally from Bahia, Brazil.
De Jesus leaves behind four children from a previous marriage.
Months before her death, she revealed on Instagram that she was suffering from psoriasis, which affected 80% of her body. Six years ago, she underwent a major weight loss surgery, a life-changing decision she shared with her followers through a post comparing her before-and-after photos.
