Sarah, Duchess of York, has been dropped by six charities, including the Teenage Cancer Trust and British Heart Foundation, after revelations of a 2011 email in which she apologised to Jeffrey Epstein and described him as a “supreme friend.”
The correspondence emerged despite her public condemnation of the convicted sex offender at the time, leading organisations such as Julia’s House and Prevent Breast Cancer to say it would be “inappropriate” for her to remain a patron.
The disclosures have ended her 35-year role with Teenage Cancer Trust and reignited scrutiny of her ties to Epstein, which she claims were severed after receiving threats from him.
