Watch: Fauci to CNN – We need the Omicron molecular structure so we can test for it – Wait what?

In an interview with CNN three days ago, Dr. Anthony Fauci explained how US and South African doctors need to coordinate to obtain the Omicron variant’s molecular structure.

Speaking on CNN’s ‘New Day’ programme, Fauci said:

So there’s a lot of travel, you never know exactly where and that’s the reason why we’re getting together with them [South African scientists] to try and get the precise molecular makeup of it. So you could actually test for it. And that’s something that will take a little bit to put the appropriate materials together to do that.

According to legacy mainstream media outlets:

• 4 Omicron patients were identified yesterday in Australia.
• 13 Omicron patients were identifed two days ago in the Netherlands.
• 2 Omicron cases were identified in Denmark one day ago.

Given Fauci’s statement that it takes time to put the information together ‘so you could actually test for it’, how can these cases in Australia, Netherlands and Denmark be confirmed Omicron cases?

In an article by COVID fake news outlet Stuff.co.nz, the PCR test can now magically identify the new variant. There is no scientific basis for this claim. Even the inventor of the PCR test, Dr. Karry Mullis (an invention for which he won the Nobel Prize) said the PCR test should never be used to determine COVID infection, or any other infectious disease, as it was not designed for that purpose and likely to give wildly inflated false positive or otherwise inaccurate results.
