Four more arrests made in Invercargill gun incident investigation

Police have arrested four additional people in relation to a firearms incident on Earn Street, Invercargill on Saturday 17 December.

After the initial arrest of a 23-year-old man on Tuesday, Police executed a number of search warrants across Invercargill, making four further arrests.

The men, aged between 17 and 28, have been charged with aggravated robbery and wounding with intent to cause injury.

They will appear in the Invercargill District Court on 9 and 13 January.

“Police would like to reassure the public that these matters are taken seriously.”

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
