Embattled former TVNZ Breakfast presenter Kamahl Santamaria faces more allegations of inappropriate behaviour, according to media reports this morning.
Santamaria is accused of sending a former junior colleague at Al Jazeera at least one inappropriate email and attempting to kiss her on two occasions in the network’s newsroom.
The email obtained by media is alleged to ‘objectify’ the recipient and another work colleague.
The woman complained to management and thereafter had little or no further contact with Santamaria.
The allegation follows a turbulent week for Santamaria, who resigned from his high-profile position last week, following complaints by TVNZ staff of, among other things, a lack of consultation in the hiring process.
I don’t know who this guy is, I haven’t watched TV for 2 years but show us the ‘lewd’ email or it never happened.
Oh and since when does anyone have a say as to who their company hires?????
