‘Make Australia Great Again’: Billionaire launches new Trump-inspired political party

Billionaire Clive Palmer has announced his new political party, ‘Trumpet of Patriots’, aiming to bring Donald Trump-style policies to Australia.

Following the deregistration of his United Australia Party (UAP), Palmer’s new party pledges to “make Australia great again” by ending government waste, backing traditional gender roles, and challenging the major political parties.

Palmer, who spent over $100 million in the 2022 election, claims his new movement will “drain the swamp” and put Australians first.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese dismissed Palmer’s latest venture, questioning its legitimacy and effectiveness.

With the federal election approaching by May 17, ‘Trumpet of Patriots’ is set to contest seats in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
