Man arrested after window-washing dispute leads to stabbings in Manukau

A 31-year-old man has been arrested following a violent altercation in central Manukau on Thursday evening, where two men were stabbed after a confrontation between a driver and people washing car windows at the busy Te Irirangi Drive and Great South Road intersection.

Police say the injured men, who suffered moderate wounds, were not believed to know the alleged offender.

The man now faces a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and is scheduled to appear in Manukau District Court today.
