Fatal crash, Ngāruawāhia
Police can confirm one person has died following a crash in Ngāruawāhia yesterday.
The crash involved a car and a motorcycle and happened shortly before 5pm on Great South Road.
The motorcyclist sadly died at the scene. There were no other injuries.
The road was expected to reopen before 8:30pm.
Christchurch woman found
A 56-year-old Christchurch woman reported missing has since been located safe and well.
‘We would like to thank the community and media for their assistance with this matter,’ said police in a statement.
Police looking for missing Auckland man Craig McDowall
Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing Auckland man Craig McDowall.
The 55-year-old was last seen by family in mid-September and enquiries to locate him have been ongoing.
Craig resides in the Mt Wellington area but could be anywhere in Auckland or further.
His family is very concerned about him and want to know that he is okay.
