Severe weather warnings from Metservice for parts of New Zealand remain in place.
Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle is expected to brnig severe weather to northern and central New Zealand in the coming days.

According to the Auckland Mayor’s office, the city can expect to feel the first effects of the cyclone today, and into Monday and Tuesday.
