U.S. President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to deliver a fiery defense of Attorney General Pam Bondi and criticise renewed attention on the Jeffrey Epstein case, calling it a distraction.
In the post, Trump lashed out at what he called “selfish people” and even some of his own supporters who he believes are undermining the administration’s progress by fixating on Epstein. “We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening,” he wrote. Trump praised Bondi as “doing a FANTASTIC JOB” and urged followers to “LET PAM BONDI DO HER JOB — SHE’S GREAT!”
Trump alleged that recent interest in Epstein’s files is part of a broader campaign orchestrated by “Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration,” comparing it to previous controversies like the Steele dossier and the “Russia, Russia, Russia” investigation. He suggested the Epstein documents are politically manufactured, questioning why they were never used earlier if they contained damaging information.
The former president also reiterated claims that the 2020 election was “rigged and stolen,” asserting that Bondi is actively investigating election integrity issues. He called for the FBI and Kash Patel to shift focus from Epstein to voter fraud and alleged political corruption.
“We are saving our Country and, MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” Trump declared, dismissing Epstein as “somebody that nobody cares about” and warning that energy should not be “wasted” on the case.
