Waikato Council race turns ugly as candidate allegedly headbutted in hoardings dispute

Waikato Council news
Bronwyn Heath (L), Fabio Rodrigues (R).

A heated row over election hoardings at a Pōkeno petrol station escalated into alleged violence when Waikato District Council candidate Fabio Rodrigues, 19, claimed he was headbutted by the husband of rival candidate Bronwyn Heath.

Rodrigues said Heath had no permission to place her signs at the site and that a confrontation ensued, during which CCTV footage appears to show her husband’s head making contact with him.

Heath disputed Rodrigues’ account, saying her 67-year-old husband acted in self-defence after fearing for their safety.

Police confirmed they were called to the scene but reported no injuries. Both candidates, who share South African roots, accuse each other of harassment as tensions in the Tuakau-Pōkeno General Ward race intensify.

  1. Do we really need that imported animalistic behaviour here in Godzone?
For immigrants: behave and adopt the way of the land or go back to your shithole!

  2. Importing more problems from S.A.???
    Holdovers from ‘Apartheid’????
Is THIS the calibre of people we want running local councils and boards???
My encounters in NZ with white South Africans; they seem to think that they should be aggressive (especially the white men who feel betrayed that Apartheid and PW Botha came to an end, and hence they left S.A. due to losing their ‘status-quo’ there,,,) to the world for allowing the Global Zionist to install Communist Nelson Mandela. I agree with the disappointment in that regard.

Their kids are especially abusive, destructive and aggressive towards other students here in NZ. No doubt, the kids are acting out what their parents do at home and off-campus, and the parents are especially rude and at times threatening a physical confrontation until the 1 kg ball peen hammer is produced as a deterrent, or a crossbow threatens to intervene. These behaviours are most prevalent at rugby, cricket and football games, and also in the school parking lots.
There is the Dutch Culture element blended into most white South Africans, but still; if you’re fleeing the murders of white Boers and going to live in another country, then it’s best to check the attitudes, rancor, arrogance, pushiness and bullying at the border of your new adopted country.
