England rugby prop Joe Marler has stirred controversy ahead of England’s match against the All Blacks by suggesting the team abandon the haka, calling it “ridiculous.”
Although sidelined due to injury, Marler posted on social media, “The Haka needs binning,” escalating tensions between the teams before Saturday’s game at Twickenham.
Known for past confrontations with the haka, Marler famously crossed the halfway line during the 2019 Rugby World Cup, leading to a fine for England.

I have had it up to here with effing hakas, it seems that you can’t do a number two without someone shouting out Te Kamete etc, once it was novel but now its just boring and cringeworthy.
