Oscar Piastri claimed victory at a rain-delayed Belgian Grand Prix with a daring early pass on McLaren teammate Lando Norris, extending his Formula 1 championship lead to 16 points.
New Zealand’s Liam Lawson impressed with a strong drive to finish eighth after overtaking teammate Isack Hadjar and benefiting from strategic pit priority.
The race was delayed over an hour due to wet conditions, but once underway, Piastri held off Norris on a one-stop strategy.
Max Verstappen finished fourth, while Charles Leclerc took third for Ferrari. Lawson now sits 14th in the Drivers’ Championship with 16 points.
