Manchester United are open to selling Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund for £30 million, despite his public declaration to stay with the club following a pre-season brace against Bournemouth.
The potential sale is linked to United’s pursuit of RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, who is also being eyed by Newcastle.
While United insist they can sign players without offloading others, they acknowledge that sales may be needed to comply with Premier League financial rules. Selling Hojlund, who still has three years remaining on his contract, would mean a financial loss based on his current book value.
