57-year-old Tyson suffered from nausea and dizziness caused by an ulcer flare-up shortly before landing. His representatives assured the public that he is in good condition and grateful for the medical assistance provided on the plane.
The upcoming fight, set for July 21 in Dallas, is officially sanctioned as a competitive match rather than an exhibition, featuring shorter rounds and heavier gloves, and will be part of both fighters’ professional records, with live coverage by Netflix.
