Mount Albert homicide: Warrant to arrest issued
Police can confirm a warrant to arrest has now been issued for 22-year-old Christian Eteuati in relation to the homicide investigation underway in Mount Albert.
The warrant is for a charge of murder. Police continue to advise the public that Eteuati is considered extremely dangerous, and he should not be approached.

Appeal for information following a serious assault in Palmerston North
Police are appealing for information about an incident involving youths that occurred on Clark Avenue, Highbury in Palmerston North yesterday afternoon.
Police were notified around 4:15pm and responded to the scene where a young person had serious stab wounds.
They were transported to hospital and have been referred to Victim Support.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and has information about the person or persons involved, or noticed disorder in the area, are encouraged to contact Police on 105 and quote file number 220527/9004.

Fatal crash – Gordonton, Waikato
One person has died in a crash in Gordonton, Waikato, yesterday evening.
The crash involved two cars and occurred at the intersection of Piako Road and Waverley Road.
It was reported to Police at 8.10pm.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and diversions were in place.
Fatal crash – Glenavy
One person has died following a crash in Waimate last night.
The single car crash happened shortly after 10:30pm on Ikawai Middle Road in Glenavy.
The sole occupant died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit attended, and the circumstances of the crash will be investigated.
Fatal house fire, New Plymouth
Police can confirm a woman has died following a house fire in New Plymouth last night.
Emergency services were called to the house fire at a Devon Street West address shortly after 11pm.
Sadly, the woman was found deceased at the scene.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the fire and her death are underway.
Police will remain at the scene today carrying out a scene examination.
Seven arrests following recent firearms incidents
Seven arrests have been made as Police continue investigating and disrupting gang activity across Tāmaki Makaurau following recent firearms incidents.
Operation Dairylands sees an escalation of Police disruption and enforcement activities across the city.
To date, 10 warrants have been executed across the city with a raft of charges being laid and firearms being recovered.
Ten charges have been laid against seven people relating to firearms, drugs and bail offences.
As a result of ongoing search warrants, Police have recovered four firearms and 250 rounds of ammunition.
The public can expect enforcement action following recent incidents to continue.
The gang members involved in this violence continue to show a blatant disregard for the safety of people going about their lawful business.
Police have no tolerance for this brazen violence that has played out in recent days.
Police will continue to remain visible across Tāmaki Makaurau and we will continue to treat any further incidents seriously.
Police encourage anyone who may have information about those illegally in possession of firearms in their community to report this to us.
