FBI launches ‘domestic terrorism’ task force over Tesla attacks

Tesla terrorism news

The announcement comes hours after a bomb squad discovered multiple “incendiary devices” at a dealership in Austin, Texas.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has established a specialized task force to address a surge in violent incidents targeting Tesla vehicles, dealerships, and charging stations across the United States. These acts, which include arson and vandalism, have been officially classified as “domestic terrorism.”

The newly formed 10-member task force includes personnel from the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and intelligence analysts, the New York Post wrote on Monday. In response to the report, FBI Director Kash Patel emphasized the agency’s commitment to public safety and accountability.

“The FBI has been investigating the increase in violent activity toward Tesla, and over the last few days, we have taken additional steps to crack down and coordinate our response,” Patel said in a post on X. “This is domestic terrorism. Those responsible will be pursued, caught, and brought to justice.”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has become an increasingly polarizing figure since President Donald Trump appointed him to lead the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). According to authorities, the attacks appear to be ideologically motivated and may be linked to an anarchist blog advocating violence against the company.

Since late January, dozens of attacks have targeted Tesla cars, dealerships and charging stations in the US and Canada, sometimes accompanied by anti-Musk graffiti. This month alone, there have been 48 reported incidents involving Tesla properties, with seven currently under active investigation, according to the Post.

The new task force has been tasked with investigating both past and recent attacks – including the discovery of incendiary devices at a Tesla dealership in Austin, Texas, on Monday – and coordinating with local law enforcement agencies to prevent further incidents.

The FBI is also monitoring a planned protest, “Tesla Takedown,” scheduled for March 29, which aims to organize demonstrations at Tesla showrooms and charging stations nationwide.

President Trump has condemned the attacks, suggesting harsh penalties, including sending perpetrators to serve 20-year prison sentences in El Salvador’s notorious mega prison.

Attorney General Pam Bondi echoed the president’s stance, stating that the Department of Justice will impose “severe consequences” on those involved, including individuals who coordinate or fund such crimes. As of Monday, three suspects have been arrested in connection with the attacks.

  1. Off subject, but imagine a headline like “New Zealand launches ‘domestic terrorism’ task force over covid bio-weapon injection attacks.”
It might take some time, but sh*t will come out. Resignations are not good enough. Scumbags should do the ‘honourable’ thing. New Zealand would be a better place.

  2. Arson and vandalism are actions of domestic terrorists in Trumps USA. Who/what will be next to be designated terrorists ? People critical of Israel perhaps, that they will term antisemitic?

People just vocally critical of Elon?

  3. They should be treated in the same way as Islamic terrorists. Arrest them and put them in jail for 10 years, find the funders/sponsors and do the same to them also.

I must admit that I feel that we are all being gaslit at present: All the fraud going on as found by DOGE, all the corruption and influence, Democrats openly inciting violence (calling Elon ‘Hitler’ and suggesting that some should be hit over the head hard, DOXing of Tesla owners), FOX news talking about all of this and not many arrests – 3 so far for Tesla vandalism? How about some more arrests of some corrupt and prominent people in order to show us that something is really happening?

  4. When non-Tesla cars were attacked by ANTIFA and BLM, were Terrorism Charges levied then?
…uh,,,NO! And who were the Presidents from 2017 to the present????
The hypocrisy of double standards is worse than the Zio-Globalist induced Bankster Wars over the last 100 years, and the lies that were perpetrated to start the wars as well (ie the Pearl Harbour set-up, Gulf of Tonkin incident, babies dumped out of incubators in Kuwait, America attacked by (the Mossad) a sick man hiding in a cave in Afghanistan suffering from renal failure, etc..
The bullshit piles up faster than it did in the Pentagon Papers..!

  5. Losing ground to Chinese EV’s in any case……no need to fire bomb them or blow them up. Competition is the real threat.
