U.S. intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard declared that Washington’s long-standing strategy of regime change has ended under President Donald Trump, despite ongoing accusations surrounding Venezuela and Iran.
Speaking at the Manama Dialogue in Bahrain, Gabbard said previous administrations had trapped the U.S. in costly cycles of toppling governments and nation-building efforts that drained trillions of dollars and created more enemies than allies. She praised Trump’s “America First” approach as pragmatic and deal-driven, claiming it focuses on diplomacy and peace-building rather than intervention.
Her remarks follow Venezuela’s allegations that Washington plotted a coup against President Nicolás Maduro, and Trump’s own hints about “regime change” in Iran. Critics argue Trump’s policies still mirror old tactics, but Gabbard insisted his leadership marks a fundamental shift away from decades of foreign interventionism.

What a load of old bollocks. Tells that to the people of Gaza and .Venezuela…..
