U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly severed ties with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, branding the once-loyal MAGA firebrand a “traitor” and accusing her of veering “far left.”
In a series of fiery Truth Social posts, Trump revoked his endorsement and blasted Greene for constant complaints, claiming their rift began after he warned her against a Senate or gubernatorial run based on low Georgia approval ratings.
Greene hit back on X, arguing the president turned on her because she pushed the Justice Department to release the full trove of Jeffrey Epstein files, saying powerful elites are trying to silence her and that Trump is “making an example” of her ahead of next week’s vote on forcing the documents’ release.
The clash comes as Congress prepares to vote on compelling the DOJ to publish the remaining Epstein records, following new disclosures from the House Oversight Committee and Trump’s own call for an investigation into Epstein’s ties with prominent Democrats.
Unfortunately, I think Trump is correct on this one. I used to like her, except her actions are more of a snake than an ally.
