Jab safety and efficacy Royal Commission petition referred to Petitions Committee

Jab safety petition news

The petition was delivered to the House Clerk for presentation to Parliament today.

Petition organiser Aly Cook told supporters in an email the petition was sponsored into the House by ACT Party leader David Seymour at 2pm this afternoon.

The Petition requests the House of Representatives call for a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccine use in New Zealand.

The petition was referred to the Petitions Committee by the Speaker, Hansard confirmed.

‘I will now prepare my written submission to the Petitions Committee and request the opportunity for an oral submission. Notice was short and [I] did not have time to arrange an official presentation. But I will be asking for an oral petition where some people can be invited to speak. There are no guarantees our government will do anything to help those injured, but I am proud and thankful for all of the 24119 people who signed the petition and all shared it. Thank you,’ wrote Cook.

The Petitions Committee will now publish a report to Parliament, or ask a specialist subject committee or a Minister to do so. In its report, the committee can make recommendations to the Government about law or policy changes it wishes to see, or actions it believes the Government should take, in response to the matters raised by the petition.

  1. This is great news.

I’m sure the government will appoint eminent independent freethinking medical experts to lead a thorough, rigorous and impartial Royal Commission of Inquiry, and not their usual bent conflicted corrupt groupthink lackeys from academia.

    #sarcasm.

    • Hang on, hang on…

Are you suggesting that if the government investigates the government they will find the government innocent of all wrongdoing?!

      SOURCE?!!?

      • Not at all, I trust my government to appoint honest highly qualified impartial experts, such as Professor Michael Baker or Siouxsie Wiles to lead a fully transparent, balanced and equitable inquiry.

As we all know correlation does NOT imply causation.

Modern science has unequivocally proven that correlation always equals astonishing inexplicable coincidence.

  2. Citizen tribunals!
    Nothing else will suffice.
Maybe such tribunal won’t have enforcing power (yet), but a Peoples Court is the ultimate of Law of the Land.
Imagine all the polli elites going into elections with a verdict of being guilty of having committed crimes against their own constituents.
