Watch: Cindy and Chloe, two of a kind

Swarbrick and Ardern video

A video circulating online has drawn significant attention for highlighting the eerie similarities in mannerisms and body language between New Zealand’s former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Member of Parliament Chlöe Swarbrick.

The footage, which was shared online by Ani O’Brien (@aniobrien, X) has garnered thousands of views, shows both politicians displaying strikingly similar gestures, facial expressions, and even speech patterns during various public appearances.

Some commenters found the video unsettling, suggesting sinister undertones in the uncanny similarities.

‘Trouble is she is modeling herself on a broken out of date model.’

‘That’s scary..’

‘But Jacinda wanted to be Helen Clark so maybe it’s just possible that she does want to be Jacinda.’

‘creepy’

‘Behaviour does not lie.’

‘And Ardern learnt her oratory skills from “honest” Tony Blair. It is a type of political semaphore which reeks of insincerity.’
