A customer in a US pharmacy filmed her interaction with one of the pharmacy workers, with a surprising admission.
The dialogue centred around the issue of informed consent. The consent of a person to any medical treatment must be informed. If it is not informed, it is not consent.
Being informed in regards to the COVID vaccines means having full disclosure of known side-effects and their likelihood, as well as access to information on placebo studies.
The pharmacist explains how the disclosure sheet for both Moderna and Pfizer products is blank. When questioned on how that complied with the requirement of informed consent, the pharmacist admits the situation is unacceptable, and that he ‘should not be giving these vaccines at all.’
