At least 12 people have been injured after a bus rolled over in Broadlands near Rotorua early this morning.
Emergency services, including multiple ambulances and helicopters, responded to the crash at the intersection of Broadlands Road and Allen Road shortly before 7:30 am.
Among the injured, three individuals sustained serious injuries, two were moderately injured, and five had minor injuries; all were transported to hospitals in Rotorua, Waikato, and Taupo.
The road remains blocked, with diversions set up at Ohaaki and Vaile Roads as emergency personnel continue to manage the scene and assist the 31 passengers involved in the incident.
