The latest Taxpayers’ Union-Curia poll shows the Coalition government can still form a majority with 63 projected seats, despite a sharp 10-point drop in net country direction to -12.7%.
National rose slightly to 34.6%, while Labour gained 3.4 points to 33.2%.
ACT and the Greens both dropped, while NZ First and Te Pāti Māori held steady.
The poll highlights growing public concern over government debt, now at $190 billion, with Taxpayers’ Union warning National to present a credible fiscal plan ahead of Budget 2025 or “risk losing public confidence”.
The poll was conducted by Curia Market Research Ltd for the NZ Taxpayers’ Union. It is a random poll of 1,000 adult New Zealanders and is weighted to the overall adult population. It was conducted by phone (landlines and mobile) and online between Wednesday 30 April and Sunday 04 May 2025. It has a maximum margin of error of +/- 3.1%.

New Zealand is screwed……
Arise apartheid Aotearoa.
Anyone who votes left is either on the benefit, retired or a public servant. The fact so many rely on the rest for money is scary. This country has nearly tipped into the abyss.
There’s no left or right mate, they are ALL GLOBALISTS. Same policies, same agenda.
Here is the proof that backs up the “Selected verses Elected” bloodline argument.
Every US president, bar one, family’s tree links back to King John of England.
We need to look into the family tree bloodline of our Prime Ministers?

No… no… no…. no… no!
The UNI-PARTY is ahead in the polls…
The criminals who violated the Nuremburg Code, and our Human Rights, Patient Rights and Civil Rights are STILL IN PARLIAMENT!!!
So…nothing will change.
