Canadian actor Spencer Lofranco dies aged 33

Canadian actor Spencer Lofranco, known for his roles in Jamesy Boy, Gotti and Unbroken has died at the age of 33, with authorities in British Columbia investigating the circumstances.

His brother, Santino, confirmed the news in an emotional Instagram tribute, remembering him as someone who “changed people’s lives.”

Lofranco, who shared a final Instagram post just days earlier, appeared in seven films across his career, with supporting parts in major productions such as Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken.

Reflecting on his craft in a 2014 interview, he credited his mother’s artistic background for inspiring his passion for acting, despite his father’s hopes he’d pursue hockey or law.
