At a 15 September hearing in Hamilton, Family Court Judge Garry Collin issued wide-ranging interim injunctions to protect the privacy and welfare of Tom Phillips’ children, appointing the court as their guardian and restricting publication of information about them, including any documentaries, films or books.
In a redacted judgment released last week, state-funded media reported Judge Collin said intense public and media interest must yield to the children’s rights as vulnerable young victims and their need to reintegrate “without everyone knowing their story,” noting that online information can follow them for life.
While acknowledging possible jurisdictional overlap with an earlier High Court injunction obtained by lawyer Linda Clark acting for the Phillips family, he opted to impose broad suppression orders and leave any questions over competing jurisdictions for the High Court to resolve.

This will most likely be a fruitless exercise as people will hear what the media are not allowed to talk about anyhow. Sucks for the kids, but it might be better to let the cat out of the bag and hopefully the dust settles for the kids quickly.

Protecting the welfare of Tom Phillips’ children by putting up a road block and using a marksman Policeman with his rifle and scope at the ready, then shooting him dead in front of his child.
Everyone knows the Family Court is not justice. If you are a woman who can’t find a high value man, look no further than the nonsense wealth redistribution by letting you in our homes.
The system now is for men to either, sleep with them for a few months and dump them or hire some size 8 18-22 year old for an hour or the evening or both.

The long-standing assault on the traditional family is revealing its damaging effects on society, yet there is little to no effort from leaders to address the underlying injustices and biases.
lol well my first husband cheated on me, bailed me and the kids (one was 3 the other 7 months old) dumped his mistress, then hooked up with someone 17 years younger who turned out to be an alcoholic 🤣 now he’s stuck with her and her kid because his best days are well and truly behind him. 😂 you see you do get what you deserve in the end.
Meanwhile i met up with someone I had known from uni and have now been married for 25 years and we have raised my exes kids plus one of our own. It’s so nice to be with someone who respects me as a woman and a mother, he thinks I am beautiful and smart and frequently tells me so. It hasn’t all been roses but he loves me for who I am. Priceless.
You see not all woman are awful and neither are all men. Family court is not where anyone really wants to be. In the end, going there meant I could finally cut my ex out of my life and move on. He used to use the pick up and drop offs as opportunities to harass and manipulate me. I gave up my career to raise the kids, he gave up nothing.
I don’t know what happened in the Tim Phillips saga but clearly the mother is a drunk loser judging by her recent court appearance that’s why the kids still aren’t with her. I could have turned to the drink after all the stress I endured but I didn’t, therefore there was no need to remove my children from me. So there’s clearly a lot more to this story than we all know.
