For the first time New Zealand is starting to see exactly how many and the types of lawfully held firearms in our communities.
New Zealand’s Firearms Registry began operating on 24 June 2023, and as it marks its third anniversary, nearly two thirds of all licence holders (63%) are in the Registry. Latest data* shows 138,115 licence holders are registered from a total population of 219,955 licence holders.
They have collectively registered 683,435 firearms, and a further 18,675 parts. On average each licence holder has registered five firearms. At this current rate, New Zealand will have 1.1 million lawful firearms in its Registry by mid-2028, which is the deadline set by Parliament for having all licence holders registered.
Rifles are the most common type of firearms registered (66%), followed by shotguns (27%), pistols (5%), and then others (1%).
The Territorial Local Authorities (TLA) with the most firearms are:
- Auckland: 79,955 (12%)
- Christchurch City: 27,250 (4%)
- Southland: 22,000 (3%)
Te Tari Pūreke – Firearms Safety Authority Acting Executive Director, Superintendent Bruce Bird, says the third anniversary is an opportunity to look at progress on the five-year journey to fully populate the Registry.
“The purpose of the Firearms Registry is to help make our families and all New Zealanders safer,” says Supt Bird. “Through firearms licensing we’ve known how many people are legally able to use firearms in New Zealand, but until now we’ve not known the locations, numbers, or types of firearms each licence holder has in their possession.
“The Firearms Registry is changing that, and we are well on the way to getting a really good picture of the legally held firearms in our communities.”
Supt Bird says the Authority recognises that most licence holders are law-abiding and responsible and registering a firearm is just becoming another aspect of being a responsible licence holder in New Zealand.
“Licence holders have a key role to play filling in the Registry and keeping their information up to date. In 2028 when we have all licence holders in it will provide a complete record of all lawfully held arms items in New Zealand.”
And when they come for your guns they will know exactly where to find them. Don’t kid yourselves that it is for any other reason.

There was a petition online that called fro New Zealand to become a country of armed neutrality. It made it to committee, but was stopped by what appears to be a Maori /Pacific Islander Committee majority!
VOTE FOR THE NEW ZEALAND LOYAL PARTY, AND OUR UNIVERSAL RIGHT TO OWN FIREARMS WITHOUT A REGISTRY AND PROTECTING OURSELVES WITH THE USE OF FIREARMS WILL COME INTO EFFECT!
I DO NOT see any Political party that addresses the restoration of Firearms Ownership & Control back to the people, except for the NEW ZEALAND LOYAL PARTY!
I’ve put this below so you won’t have to…and when NZ Loyal gives us a binding and ratified Constitution, it too will have a Second Amendment Rigfht to ‘Keep & Bear Arms’ that protect us from government tyranny.
This is what Ardern was trying to avoid post Chch massacre, with the knee-jerk reaction that violated out right under law to own firearms and to use the same to protect ourselves.

The Principles of Self-Defence
1. Inherent Right: The right to self-defence is inherent and inalienable. It is not something that can be taken away by the government.
2. Personal Responsibility: Individuals are responsible for their own lives and the protection of their loved ones.
3. Government’s Role: The government’s role is to protect our rights, not to dictate how we exercise them.
4. Crime and Victimhood: A crime is committed when a victim is created through harm. The government’s focus should be on protecting the rights of victims, not on disarming law-abiding citizens.
Policy Objectives
1. Repeal of Restrictive Firearms Legislation: NZ Loyal will repeal laws that unfairly restrict our right to self-defence.
2. No Licensing Requirements: We will abolish licensing requirements for firearms, instead focusing on education and training leading to a certificate of competency.
3. Protection of Property Rights: We will ensure that property owners have the right to defend their lands and businesses against trespass and harm.
4. Accountability and Transparency: We will establish robust mechanisms for investigating and addressing complaints of government overreach and abuse of power.

Guns or fewer guns in the community, this nation and the west isn’t going to go quietly into the night. To put it simple, any government and its forces do not have the authority nor the numbers to hold back millions of pissed off citizens. Bring it on and see just how ineffective words on paper, propaganda news media along with such a tiny percentage of the population is against everyone else defending their family and choice. I know which team I would rather be on.
The vast majority of the worlds population isn’t going to take anymore injections . They are selective when it comes to processed food, drink and tap water.
Whether or not, the government chooses to openly acknowledge it, It is proven beyond all doubt these injections numbered around 2200 variants were laced with poison designed to cause damage, disability and death to people. No longer he or she died of this or that, a new term sudden death syndrome had to be coined.
The lack of justice and accountability on these islands and the world doesn’t make the citizens agreeable. It challenges populations to seek justice starting from non compliance, political change right through to open defiance and civil war.
Ireland and Northern Ireland is a prime example of people who couldn’t agree on the correct shade of green. They were enemies one day and the next burning out violent boat people from their communities. It wasn’t guns. It was matches and petrol and a sneak attack. The police in NZ used the same method to help end the Wellington protest. It was caught on camera.
Burning people alive in their homes isn’t how it is supposed to work. Sensible government who make just and proper policies and decisions is. Sadly the worlds history is littered with nations born out of violence, guns and murder. It is a never ending cycle.
If that is your goal then ANY digital intrusion needs to be rejected. ANY! Thej will sell digital anything by making that attractive, either via ‘Health & Safety’ or outright ‘gifts’ and ease of use.
For a start, ditch ANY digital payment. Pay with cash only.
