Former Warriors player Wairangi Koopu named in drug charges case

Former Warriors player and television personality Wairangi Koopu is facing charges of cocaine possession and supply of a Class A drug, carrying a potential penalty of up to 14 years in prison.

His name suppression lapsed immediately on Wednesday. He was charged in October.
