The US President has talked to journalists before heading to Israel for hostage releases.

US President Donald Trump declared to reporters on Sunday that the war in Gaza “is over.”

He has just boarded Air Force One, taking off for Israel ahead of the hostage releases tomorrow.

Trump is expected to address Israel’s parliament as well as meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the families of the hostages. Later, leaders from more than 20 countries will join the US president in Egypt for a summit on Gaza’s future. Israel and Hamas representatives will not be attending the ceremony.

”The war is over. Okay? You understand that?” Trump said when asked if he was confident that the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian group was finished.

Trump will be accompanied on his visit to the region by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, along with a host of other high-ranking administration officials.

“Everybody’s very excited about this moment in time. This is a very special event…Everybody’s cheering at one time. That’s never happened before,” he told reporters.

According to the deal unveiled by President Trump in late September, all 48 Israeli hostages, dead and alive, will be recovered from the enclave. The Israeli army is expecting to receive living hostages around 8 a.m. Monday from 3 sites in Gaza. Bodies of dead hostages expected later. Israel is in turn required to free 250 Palestinians serving life sentences and 1,700 Gazans detained since 2023.

  1. Gaza war over…Yeah, right.
As of October 2025, over 11,100 Palestinians are in Israeli prisons.
Under the newly announced ceasefire deal, Israel will release 1,950 Palestinians (250 serving life sentences, plus 1,700 arrested since October 2023).
Hamas will release 48 Israeli hostages.
    Wonderful, ay?
Despite this release, the vast majority of Palestinians imprisoned by Israel – over 9000 – will remain imprisoned, including thousands held without trial.

  2. LOL, and then there is this:

Anyone who knows how Hamas is created does also know that the whole ‘deal’ is nothing but a charade to enrich the MICBC.
For punters unfamiliar with the origin and purpose of Hamas:
The Gaza eradication program began on October 7, 2023, when Hamas, created by israhell to antagonise the PLO (remember Arafat?), were enabled to launch a ‘surprise’ attack on southern Israel via a clandestine stand-down order of IDF by mossad/satanyahu.
In the 1980s, Israel provided budgets to Mujama al-Islamiya, the precursor to Hamas, via military governors like Brigadier General Yitzhak Segev, to counter the PLO/Arafat, who gained power.
Israel allowed Qatar to transfer over $1 billion into Gaza from 2012 onward, knowing Hamas would benefit.
Netanyahu stated in 2019: “Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas.”
EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said in 2024: “Hamas was financed by Israel to weaken the Palestinian Authority” which was presided by Arafat since 1967 it.
The peoples of the land are cast into eternal misery by bankster wars via subversion of the various fascist/religious fractions. These bankster cabals also wreak havoc on the rest of the world, but it’s a more silent war. It’s the war of debt peonage.

  3. No its not. This is just a pause, one long enough for you, Frumpy, to take a victory lap. Tomorrow Benny will say something along the lines of a Palestinian “peed in his coffee” and its will back to to mayhem and murder.
