Police are appealing for information to help locate Stacey, who has been reported missing since after failing to return home from her usual morning walk in Christchurch.
Stacey left her home in Redgrave Street between 8am and 9am on Monday 14 September and went for a walk, which is part of her normal daily routine. Her walks are typically no longer than two hours.
“When family members were unable to locate or contact her, enquiries were made with friends, relatives and associates. Despite efforts, nobody has been able to account for her whereabouts”, said Detective Senior Sergeant Dan Overend.
“This behaviour is out of character, and her family is becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“Police are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen Stacey in the Redgrave Street area, or elsewhere in Hoon Hay, on Monday 14 September, or who may have had contact with her since she left home.
“Anyone who has seen Stacey, knows of her whereabouts, or has CCTV, dashcam footage, or other information that could assist is urged to contact Police via 105, quoting file number 260915/7708. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
“Police would also like to make a direct appeal to Stacey. If you see this message, please contact your family or Police to let somebody know you are safe. Your family is extremely worried about you and wants to know that you are okay.”
