A section of Auckland’s Newmarket Station was cordoned off after a fight between two men around 4:30 pm resulted in one man being hospitalised with moderate injuries following a fall.
Witnesses reported seeing blood near a bench, and a shopkeeper observed someone being taken away on a stretcher, according to state media.
The offender fled the scene, and police are working to locate him. Anyone with information is urged to contact police using reference number P061314502.
