The NZ Outdoors and Freedom Party will strenuously oppose the Opportunity party’s proposed rebranding to “OP” and is in the process of alerting the Electoral Commission to its concerns.
Party Secretary Bruce Abrahams says, “For a long time now we have received complaints from voters that they have been confused when asked in polls which often don’t ask about the NZ Outdoors & Freedom Party at all. We suspect our Outdoors and Freedom party votes have accidentally gone to TOP due to voters assuming it stands for The Outdoors Party.”
Now the NZ Outdoors and Freedom party is consistently ahead of TOP in the polls (last poll NZOFP was at 1.5% over TOP’s 1.2%) their name change looks like a deliberate attempt to add to the confusion and divert our NZ Outdoors and Freedom party votes, said NZOFP in a press release.
The NZ Outdoors and Freedom party has been rebranding its web page and brochures to reflect the parties initials NZOFP to make it easier for voters in next year’s election – ww.nwzofp.co.nz.
“We have worked courageously to build a loyal grassroots support base, challenging many controversial globalist government policies, state controlled media, science and police. Including gene technology, digital currency, the heavy-handed covid response and mandates, selling carbon credits and forests to overseas companies and restricting access to nature and outdoors recreations.” says leader Sue Grey.
“We have worked hard developing innovative health, education and regenerative farming policies, making numerous parliamentary submissions and OIA requests, and challenging the unfair allocation of Broadcasting funds in the High Court before the last election. We have built up a huge community of frustrated New Zealanders with our active social media and our innovative health and education policies which offer real solutions. It’s unfair if another party can change their name to take advantage of the massive grassroots support we have built”.
Ah yes, TOP. That globalist start up that with MSM hype behind them was promoting UBI as a concept. If any thing, they are the antithesis to the Outdoors and Freedom party.

NZ Loyal is not a registered political party currently and there is no pending registration for it. NZOFP continues to to work hard standing against GE, with oral and written submissions, petitions etc Along with many other bill . We truly stand for freedom and we are currenly 1.5% on the latest poll ahead of TOP . We work daily holding the government to account. We have been a registered political party for 15 years . NZOFP did work together very hard to unite everyone only Vision wished to join NZ Loyal refused to unite in anyway last time . We were persecuted for associating with Brian and Hannah and we have learnt that our party faithful want us to stand on our own .. I have the greatest of respect for Counterspin Media and everything Kelvin and Hannah have and do stand for . IMO the greatest threat to the freedom movement is the independent Media who are backing Winston Peters and not giving a voice to other minor parteis ,and those in the freedom movement doing the same .
